Description: We have an amazing tour leaving every day from the hostel. You get picked up right in front of Los Amigos and arrive in Tikal right after sunrise. (The park opens at 6.00 am, so it is not possible to see the sunrise from the temples)

At arrival you will be guided by the 2 most experienced guides working at the site, according to many locals. Their names are Ceasar and Luis. They provide a full tour from 6.00 to 10.30 visiting about 90% of Tikal, giving

you detailed explanation about the Mayan architecture, history and inner secrets and mysteries of this ancient culture. They also are very knowledgeble on flora and fauna, showing you the howler monkeys, spidermonkeys, tucans, parrots, wild turkeys, pisotes, foxes, tarantulas, snakes and many more insects and other weird creatures that can be see if you arrive early in the morning.

Ceasar, better known as Little Ceasar, and Luis will also explain you about the jungle and its plants. How they are used in medicinal ways.

We definately recommend going with our guided tour to Tikal. You will just get so much more out of it and so far all our guests have come back very happy.

After the guided tour ends, around 10.30 you will have the chance to explore the park by yourself. You can either mount more temples or just relax in the central plaza between these giant structures.

The minibus will bring you back from Tikal to Los Amigos either at 12.30 or at 14.00. It will take 1 hour and 15 minutes to get back.

IMPORTANT: Don´t forget to get yourself some breakfast or lunch when you go on the tour. You will not have time to buy yourself food untill after this tour ends. So please bring food!

We offer a very good lunch box to take. You can order it the day before you leave and we store it in the fridge for you so you can take it with you when you leave early in the morning.

or a chicken option for Q 45

Beside your sandwich the package contains a small bottle of water, an apple and cookies. So it`s a really good deal and will make your Tikal trip nicer as you won`t be walking around with that empty belly!
