Panajachel

The easiest and safest way to go to Panajachel at Lake Atitlan is by taking a direct first class nightbus. This bus leaves daily at 20.15  and costs Q 365. Tickets are available at Travel Agency Los Amigos right at the hostel.

Travel time: 12 hours

You get picked up from the hostel at 20:15 by a taxi that brings you to the big bus. First you travel with a first class night bus to Guatemala City. You arrive at the office of the company   at 5.00 am. Here a minibus will be waiting right next to your bus to bring you to Antigua, where you will arrive at 6.30 am the next morning.

Then another minibus will be leaving at 8.00 am to Panajachel where you will arrive around 11.00 am.

The service we offer includes the taxi service, a seat in the first class bus and the minibus connection to Antigua and the minibus connection from Antigua to Panajachel, so it brings you from door to door.

You can also take the 2nd class connection which costs Q 320. The deal is the same only the bus from Flores to Guatemala City won`t have airco and a toilet.
