Enjoy a magical day swimming in the Cráter Azul. Cráter Azul is one of the sources of the river La Pasión in municipality Las Cruces, Petén and part of the Refugio de Vida Silvestre El Pucté. The different natural springs here are an incredible turquoise color and thanks to the crystalline waters you can see all the way to the bottom and easily see the underwater flora and fauna.

A GREAT DAYTRIP
We will drive to Sayaxché first, where we’ll get on a boat for a magical 1,5 hour boat ride over the beautiful rivers La Pasión and Pucté. On the way you’ll be able to observe the varied local wildlife, like turtles, howler monkey and huge variety of aquatic birds.
At the crater you’ll observe the natural springs that form the crater and have plenty of time to swim and take pictures.
